The current phase-1 product is designed to keep the primary cover-matching flow on device. The app can download a shared catalog snapshot from api.webyl.app so the local corpus stays current.

The current service shape is:

• no account is required for the shared-catalog sync lane
• offline matching runs locally on the device
• catalog refresh downloads shared metadata, embeddings, and cover assets
• if online matching is enabled later and you choose Online mode, the submitted image is sent to the server-side match service for that request

Like most internet services, the site and API may retain standard operational logs such as request time, IP address, user agent, and response status for reliability and abuse monitoring.

If you contact support, the information you include in that message is used to respond and troubleshoot the issue.

This notice reflects the current phase-1 architecture. It should be updated before any release that adds accounts, private inventory sync, billing, or broader analytics.
