The current app is local-first. The core scan flow runs on device, catalog sync keeps the shared corpus current, and the hosted backend stays out of the critical path unless you intentionally use the online lane.
How sync works
The app ships with a bundled snapshot and can refresh shared catalog data from the production API when a newer corpus is available.
Current product shape
Phase 1 is shared-catalog sync plus the public site. Online matching is optional and stays disabled until the hosted match lane is ready.
Phase 1 does not require an account. Future releases may add private inventory sync, curated imports, and optional online match improvements.
